Couldn't praise Dr Wood enough. He listened very sympathetically to my desire to avoid a hysterectomy (was urged to have one by consultant elsewhere) and then staged my treatment carefully. Ended up with ovaries removed by keyhole and no need for further surgery. The operation went brilliantly, the cyst turned out to be non-malignant, I avoided the hysterectomy and was fully recovered in 3 weeks. Thank you to Dr Wood and the nurses on the ward afterwards.
