"Sally Lawson. Trip to accident and emergency"

About: Darlington Memorial Hospital

I was admitted by ambulance to accident and emergency on the 17th March with extreme chest pain and finding it hard to breath. The paramedics that attended me at home and then took me to Darlington were superb. I was quite worried about my health and being a nurse myself feared the worse.

The staff from start to finish were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. They were very busy that day but I got seen quickly and efficiently.

I was then transferred to ward 14 where the staff were excellent too. I was released later that night and home to recuperate.

My experience of this hospital was second to none and I see no need for improvement in the way I was cared for. The staff are a credit to the hospital, thankyou so much to everyone who treated me.
