Was advised to go to a&e by a doctor that had called me back after a 111 call . The doctor from 111 was concerned about the headache I'd had on 1 side for 4 weeks as it had now got a lot worse, It was even worse if I laid down, my neck hurts and I'm being sick which he said was all worrying signs as not like a migrane. they had said a&e would be the best option as it would be the fastest route to get a scan and any other tests required .we got to a&e at 1 am was seen super fast by the nurse who sent us to majors lite and said we had a 2 hour wait well we was waiting 4 hours.
The whole time there was no staff on reception a nurse was popping to the window after a lot of patients was loosing there temper .the whole 4 hours there was a bucket of sick on the floor people sitting on floor in corridor as there was not enough seats . When I finally got seen I explained all to the doc who took my BP checked I could move arms n legs and was told go take pain killers it's probably just a migrane and if not better by Monday go back , my husband questioned it due to the 111 docs concerns so they gave me anti sickness pills and a letter to give to my gp for my gp to send for outpatients scan (that's going to be a 4 month wait at least) in the meantime I'm suffering this horrible head pain unable to eat or drink with none of the meds working . Hopefully it's not serious or it may well be too late the time I finally get the scan the 111 doc thought I needed
"only got 1 star as I couldn't leave 0"
