"'I feel the beds should be allocated on the basis of illness, not age'"

I did not like the fact that I was put in a ward for the elderly. When my problem was one which could have been suffered at any age, not just to people over 75. Being accommodated with patients who shout almost non stop is not conducive to a quick recovery- I feel the beds should be allocated on the basis of illness, not age, it would be more appropriate, however I do realise the problem is not confined to the RDG.
