"Supreme satisfaction in every department"

I was recently admitted via A&E and had to spend several days in the hospital. The ambulance service was swift,sure and most professional although the ride was rather bumpy.

A&E were superb.

The care given in the MAU was top class as was that later provided in Capener Ward.

I cannot speak too highly of the kindness, care and downright hard work put in by all the doctors, nurses, health care assistants and domestic staff and other helpers throughout the hospital.

24/7/365 the hospital performs a constant stream of minor miracles by the sound management of resources and particularly by the devotion of the staff.

Even the catering, so often a let down in institutions, was markedly good. Food was always served hot,timely,tasty and with a smile and friendly word.

I was, as to be expected, glad to get home but my time at NDDH gave me a window into the wonderful service provided by all the staff and facilities and the incredible teamwork which binds the system together.

I cannot give enough praise and thanks.
