"Fantastic care"

About: Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital

I was taken via ambulance in the early hours of the morning to A & E having coughed up large amounts of blood. This continued on arrival at A & E. Luckily I am in good health and have not stayed in hospital for any length of time only as a visitor. Therefore I was feeling very anxious.

There was no need for me to feel worried as the care and attention I received was absolutaly fantastic

I had many tests, bloods taken, drips etc.,and then taken to ward 4 for a further three nights.

I was very well looked after by the team and cannot praise or thank all of them enough. They were extremely polite, courteous and helpful at all times.

I would particularly like to mention four members of staff for their kind attention in making me feel much healthier and better.

I did notice there were times when I felt the team went above and beyond with excellent patient care , true dedication to their duties. Thank you again.
