"Recovering from a heart attack"

About: Basildon University Hospital

I was rushed by ambulance to the hospital and its action undoubtedly saved my life.

The organisation, professionalism and planning behind the way I was put on the road to recovery is staggering.

The nurses, support staff and medical staff work such long-hours but never fail in their kindness and good humour.

It was an awesome demonstration of team-work and a tribute to what human beings can achieve working together.

The staff work like clockwork to sustain their patients and provide a safe haven for our recovery.

I am deeply impressed and very grateful.
