Hello, thank you for getting in touch.

I am so sorry that your daughter is not happy with the care she has had. This is absolutely not the way we want our parents and patients to feel when we are caring for them.

We would like to be able to support you more fully--there are a number of ways we can support you: please have a word with the supervisor of midwives on the ward where your daughter is staying, or have a word with the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) officer who makes daily rounds on our wards to find out if parents or patients need support during their stays with us.

Alternately, the midwives doing their care rounds are are avaialable to speak with your daughter.

If you are still unhappy, please do contact our PALS team on pals@bwnft.nhs.uk so we can ensure we get the service right for both you and our future parents/patients.

Thank you again for taking time to feedback, and I am sorry we have let you down.

Amy Maclean, Head of Patient Experience
