"Maternity care"

About: Conquest Hospital

I had been in labour for 12 hours and rung the hospital to ask to come in, as i was not screaming they said that i couldnt be that far along which i was. I rang again 2 hrs later with the midwife stating i would be sent home. When i arrived i was in visible labour and was made to wait in relatives room. I was then moved to bed for examination where the same midwife because i was not screaming the place down said i would be sent home. I was 8cm dilated! the consultant was very good though. I was then left in a room for ages without anyone checking on me, once in labour I couldnt fault the midwifes. However, i then had to stay in three days, my bedding was never changed even though blood all over it. I took it off and put it on floor was not collected for a day and ended up getting replacements myself out of cupboard. Food is terrible avoid at all costs. nurses incredibly pushy over breastfeeding.
