"Awaiting x ray report"

I went to the xray department at Newark hospital on Monday 29th February, I did not have to wait long for the xray to be taken, this was fantastic.

However I cannot say the same for the results.

It is now the 14th March and the report is still not with the GP, despite being told it would be back on the Friday.

I was advised by the Doctors surgery to give Newark hospital a ring today 14th March, which I have done.

They tell me that the xray still hasn't even been reported on yet, and they will move it up the list as it has been longer then ten days.

Why does it take so long?

All that patients want is to be treated for any problems so that they do not suffer any longer than they should have to.

I await with bated breath as to whether it will be back by Thursday.
