I had badly wounded my leg on a shelf in a shop in April 2015. I have great trouble healing as I am on various tablets and injections for my Rheumatoid arthritis. Initially I went to A&E at the PRU, then for weekly and twice weekly dressings at the GP The wound was classified as an ulcer due to slow healing. It was gradually getting better when it became infected and the GP refered me to the ulcer clinic. Once this referral was sent the response was majical! An appointment was quickly sent and assessment made. The treatment I received was fantastic! In 6 weeks the ulcer had healed. I cannot thank the service enough. I would certainly recommend it to anyone. My heart felt thanks to all.
"Great experience at the tissue viability clinic"
