Just been to ENT, on a two week protocol. Very worried due to food getting stuck in my throat and voice changes.
I tried to explain to the dr but almost everything I said was dismissed, I mentioned I was also having ear problems as my headphones no longer fitted in one of my ears, the doctor just said "your using the wrong size, er no I'm using the same ones I've been using for ages.. Also tried to tell the doctor that things like bread get stuck that was dismissed. Wouldn't let me tell them I had had problems in the past, I wanted to tell the consultant about having biopsies done and other procedures, they just were not interested, don't know if their attitude was worse because they had a medical student in there. I left that room feeling bullied and brow beaten, in fact I just gave up in the end, I'm sure quadrupling the dose of heartburn meds will cure everything, not. What an awfully upsetting experience
