"delay in getting mri scan and diagnosis at Queen Alexandra"

I am suffering from a very severe back problem. The pain became severe in november and affected my mobility and the distance I could walk. My doctor referred me to physio in January and they referred me to a consultant at QA in March. After a very brief meeting, this consultant referred me for a MRI scan at Hasler. I waited two months for an appointment then phoned in May to see what was happening, to be told you will be seen in June. I queried how long I would have to wait if I went Private. One week. I still had no appointment by the end of June, I phoned again and was told possible end of July or August. I said I'm in agony, by this stage I had been provided with a perching stool because I couldn't stand for more than a couple of minutes. They said sorry but it couldn't be helped, staff problems. I said i can't wait any longer I will pay to go Private. I had a appointment for the following Monday 2 July. Amazing.

After the scan I phoned QA and asked when i could see my consultant, to be told he would look at the scan and be in touch. Today the 16th July i phoned again to be told he only looks at scans on thursday and he didnt look at it last week but would look at it this week and then would be in touch.

I have no diagnosis ,Im in constant pain, I cant get about, I cant work or run my business. How long do I have to put up with this treatment befor I receive treatment? Im at the end of my tether, my blood pressure is through the roof. Do I have to have a heart attack before Im treated?
