"No respect for a mum wanna be feelings"

About: St Mary's Hospital (HQ) (London)

I came to the clinic as being in my early 40s I'm struggling to get pregnant. I am healthy, I regularly practise sport and I barely need to go and see my GP. But I long to be a mother so I booked an appointment with the clinic. I had to really struggle to obtain an appointment which it was postponed of 2 months. Now I'm due for following up appointment to discuss my blood results and choose the treatment to go for but yesterday I received a voicemail saying that GPs are on strike and my appointment is postpone until May!!. I have been going through an emotional turmoil and I find it disgusting that for 20 minutes of consultation I have to wait 6 months!!! I can't afford to waste time but no one cares. we are just numbers. Regardless to say I'm not a wealthy person who can have the luxury of choosing a private clinic, I have to borrow the money for whichever fertility treatment I will go for. I'm deeply disgusted and disappointed for the lack of professionalism and care.
