"Delays to getting seen for dentures"

About: Dundee Dental Hospital / Dental Services

(as the patient),

I was referred from my dentist waited 5 month for an appointment. I went there last June. The guy doing my mouth said we will have you back in 10-12 weeks to start treatment. I asked if I could have afternoon appointments.

So 7 months later I phone them as I still had no appointment. They send me a morning appointment. I said it wasn't convenient, so they said ok I have to go back on the list. I think this is absolutely shocking.

I keep getting ulcers in mouth. I went back to my dentist last week and they were shocked that I have still not been seen.

Dear "leezer"

I would like to offer our apologies for the delay in your treatment commencing. Unfortunately, without your details we are unable to provide a definite reason for the delay. If you would like to contact Jo Cameron, Clinical Services Manager, at Dundee Dental Hospital on 01382 425791, she will be happy to investigate the reasons for this.

Kind regards.

Alison Moss
