"Relapsing polychrondits"

About: Western General Hospital / Rheumatology

(as the patient),

I was diagnosed with Relapsing polychrondits in December 2015. I seen my Rheumatologist in March 2016. The rheumatologist was really nice doing lots of tests, put me on medication for flare up. The only thing is they did not say if they were up to date with RP. It is very rare. But other than that no complaints. Would love to know if anyone one else in Edinburgh has RP.

Dear Margaret J

Thank your for taking the time to share your experiences following your appointment with the Rheumatologist and was pleased to hear this went well.

As you say Relapsing polychondritis is very rare. I have passed your feedback onto the staff at the Western General Hosptial and hope that you are continuing to feel better since starting medication for your flare up.

Kind regards

Jeannette
