"Cancer Treatment"

About: Southend Hospital

My father, who died on 3rd March 2016 of complications cause by the progress of his lung cancer, received his chemotherapy and radiotherapy at Southend hospital. Our thanks go to all the staff in these departments and especially to the radiotherapy staff who looked after him after he had fallen and broken his nose on his way to meet his transport. Thanks also to all of the transport people, for their efforts. Dad spoke very highly of them,

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your post relating to Cancer and Transport Services here at our trust.

It is great to hear such positive feedback at such a sad time for you and your family.

I ensure you this will be sent onto all staff who I am sure will be delighted to see the comments.

Regards,

Patient Involvement Team
