To whom it may concern
I was a patient in the Emergency Department on 29/02/2016, I was brought in by ambulance with severe abdominal pain.
I was hesitant to come to this hospital as I am a staff member and felt embarrassed, however I was wrong to feel this way. From the moment I entered A&E I was taken to Resus area and was provided outstanding care by the nurses and Doctor looking after me.
I would like to thank one Doctor in particular who looked after me very well. The Doctor treated me as an individual, taking into account my beliefs such as natural/homeopathic treatments. The Doctor didn't force me to have any medication that would not agree with my beliefs. The Doctor informed me very well in regards to this.
I would also like to thank the nursing staff who provided me with excellent care, many thanks for your patience and understanding.
I would also like to thank the surgical team who saw me very quickly and diagnosed my problem. They acted very quickly upon it and referred me to Urology at Princess Royal university hospital.
I am aware of a lot of bad comments regarding QE Hospital but this experience made me realise how good the nurses and doctors are at QE.
Kind Regards
"Excellent A&E team"
