I would like to thank everyone at the Philip Yeoman ward for an excellent overnight stay. The staff were helpful and informative and I had more fun than I expected. This includes the staff wheeling me to the x-ray department, and the physios teaching me the basics of crutch technique. The anaesthetists were reassuring and informative, and the consultant was, of course, excellent. The ankle seems to be doing fine.
I could possible have had a little more info on the exercises etc. I might have used to aid recovery, but I was reasonably well informed beforehand and it was probably assumed (correctly) that I would have found out more. So thanks to everyone
