Dirty waiting room area with cardboard used sick bowls tissues etc under seating and on seating, We was with a 2 day baby that only needed a heel blood test for jaundice and to be ask to sit in that area with sick children vomiting was unacceptable, we complained and was moved to a cubicle to wait to see a Dr. Five hours later we were seen and the blood test was taken, another hour to wait for the results and the baby was borderline to be treated and we were told to come back the following day to hippo ward at 11am. After 3 hours a repeat blood test was taken another hour for the results and was told she was borderline again and no treatment needed. In total 11hours out of 24 hours was spent in the qe for 2 blood tests on a 2 day old baby. a total disgrace.
