"Appointment system was very disappointing"

About: Ninewells Hospital / Plastic Surgery & Burns

(as the patient),

I was referred for an appointment to the Plastic Surgery Department at Ninewells at the end of October 2015. I eventually received an appointment for the beginning of March 2016. It was cancelled and I received another appointment for the second week of March 2016. This has now also been cancelled and I have been told that the earliest I will be seen will be the end of April. Very disappointing.

I am extremely sorry to hear of the delays you have encountered in receiving an appointment for our Plastic Surgery Department. I agree that this is very disappointing and not the standard of service we aim to provide. Without further detail I am unfortunately not able to investigate the specific reasons for this.
