"My treatment and care was amazing"

At the beginning of the year, I visited my GP with concerns about a lesion on my back.

I received a call from the hospital the next day and from that moment in time my treatment at Tameside Hospital was fast and effective and in just two weeks my condition had been diagnosed and treated.

Unfortunately I was diagnosed with malignant melanoma but I was very fortunate to be looked after by a wonderful team of professionals in Dermatology and thankfully due to their quick actions and excellent care I have received a very positive prognosis. I am truly grateful to my GP and the hospital staff for their efficient treatment and very kind care and also for the amazing aftercare, which has included plastic surgery at Wythenshawe Hospital.
