"Still waiting"

I have been waiting for treatment for 20 weeks now. My operation has been cancelled 3 times at 18hrs notice 1 days notice and 3 days notice. It may seem routine to them but this illness has effected my lifestyle for 18 months now. I work to appointments so 3 times I have cancelled 2 weeks worth of work because that is my recovery minimum period. That means I have rescheduled 6 weeks worth of my own clients and I also have a 1 year old who I have to organise childcare for. Throughout this process I have been the one ringing the hospital for dates for the next operation but still no date yet. So not a positive experience for me.
