My son had to have an ingrown toenail removed on the day case ward, he has only just turned 17 and has a needle phobia. When we turned up I asked could I stay with him, they found us a room so I could stay with him ..
the staff were lovely looked after him made him feel safe explained everything to him from drs, nurses, and anaesthesists..nothing was too much for them I even went to theatre with him while he got put to sleep... What we were dreading as being horrible turned out to be a very good experience ..the hospital was spotless.. and tx u again all staff in day case ward :) .
