"Breast cancer diagnosis on Christmas Eve"

I was diagnosed with breast cancer on Christmas Eve. I was treated with great compassion and understanding by all of the staff at the Magnolia unit. The radiographer and radiologist who performed the biopsies explained everything and were kind and thoughtful, even holding my hand through the treatment! During the morning all of the staff treated me and my husband with respect,explaining what future treatment was likely. Hearing this news at Christmas should have been dreadful but it was made bearable by the professionalism and thoughtfulness of the staff on the unit. I cannot thank them enough.
