"Excellent treatment and Patient care"

From entering the hospital to leaving after my operation the care and consideration I received was excellent.My pre op treatment was caring and very reassuring as I was informed of all stages of the procedure. Whilst in the operating theater I was made to feel comfortable even though my extremities were on view to all.The theater staff kept me occupied during the procedure with conversation to me not to each other which focussed my thoughts on them rather than what was going on down below.After the operation everything was explained to me and I was taken to a quiet room to relax with a cup of coffee and biscuits until I felt strong enough to get up.I was assisted to the waiting area to be picked up and taken home. This was my first visit to a hospital for surgery since the birth of my daughter 40 years ago and I was very impressed with all aspects of the hospital and staff. Well done.
