"Attendance at QEII Urgent Care Centre on 29..."

About: Queen Elizabeth I I Hospital (Welwyn Garden City)

I attended the UCC today as my local GP Practice were unable to give me appointment until late tomorrow for a painful infected finger. Although I felt slightly embarrassed for attending for such a minor ailment all of the staff - from the triage nurse, reception staff, cleaning staff and the GP, all treated me with the utmost professionalism, dignity and respect.

Well done New QEII. Oh, and by the way, I do not work at the establishment!

Thanks for getting in touch Anthony - glad that you felt the team at the New QEII urgent care centre looked after you so well.

We've passed your feedback to them - in the meantime, we hope that your finger gets better quickly.
