"Surgery & 2 night stay"

I was very nervous on the day of my operation, I needn't of been - the nurses & the anaesthetist was fantastic & constantly reassured me.

I had a spinal anaesthetic & the anaesthetist talked me through each process whilst the lovely nurse held my hand a comforted me.

After my operation I was taken to my room and the nurses & health care assistants were constantly to hand.

They were kind and helped me through my difficult first 2 days.

One particular HCA was so lovely & caring, I was unable to have a shower the following day after my operation due to dizziness but they helped me wash & chatted to me and sort my clothes to make me feel semi human again.

I was discharged the following day with full explanation of my care & medication and although felt weak was happy to be going home.

The food choice was fantastic (even though on one of the days I unfortunately was too poorly to keep anything down).

I don't drink hot drinks but the choice of juices & squashes was great.

I live very close to Yeovil Hospital but opted for Circle Bath due to the reviews and the experience my husband had the previous year.
