"colorectal investigation feb 27 2016"

About: Colchester General Hospital

I attended the Elmstead Day Unit for a colonoscopy at 1300 hrs and was greeted by friendly staff after presenting my appointment letter I was asked to take a seat. after a short wait a nurse took me to a room where I confirmed all details and had blood pressure checked the I was taken to a ward to change into a gown and dignity underwear, again after a short time I was taken to the theatre. During the procedure I was constantly reassured by staff afterwards being taken back to the ward to rest and have a nice cup of tea and some toast before going home.

I should like to thank all the staff concerned for their care and understanding during what for me was a worrying time. Thank you all
