About: East Surrey Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

My Father in Law transported me to East Surrey Hospital A&E Department for a back injury and chest pain. The staff at the department where absolutely on point!

Very informative and very caring. On being admitted to CCU, again the staff were very caring and informative. The hospital was very clean and food fantastic. I cannot thank all the staff enough.

I am responsible for everything to do with facilities, estates and IT. This includes our £50m building programme, food, cleaning, estates, porters, telephones, IT, transport, car parks and anything similar. Also leading our new Patient Experience Programme.

Dear Ian,

Thank you very much for taking the time to reply. I find it very reassuring that my opinion on the hospital and the care I received has been noted.

The staff truly are wonderful.

And yes, I am on the road to recovery.
