"Second trimester and still no scan!"

About: New Cross Hospital

Really discusted how the staff cannot give a simple answer about when my first scan will be. All i get is we will contact you for your first ultra-sound scan however comming up to 16 weeks pregnant and still no sign of a scan. This is outragous as ive been waiting for someone to contact me and still nothing. im getting very comcerned weather my baby is growing correctly as noone has said anything! Staff need to proritise scans because sooner or later it will be time for the 20 weeks scan which im very doubtful of getting. Really concidering changing hospitals because i feel let down i should have a right to see my babys wellbeing. I feel as though ive been let down and made to wait for no outcome! If this is the support i get now how can i be satisfied the staff will care for me with my birth effectively! Would really like to know why i keep getting told to wait for my first scan as by now i should have someone arranging me an appointment.
