"Critical Care - Then Ward 20"

About: Milton Keynes Hospital

A Huge Thank You

I came into Milton Keynes University Hospital on Friday 29th January 2016.

To all in Critical Care as well as the team on Ward 20.

I cannot thank you enough for the excellent care I received from Consultants, sister, nurses, healthcare assistants, occupational therapists, phlebotomist to porters and the cheerful cleaner.

Sorry if I left anyone out.

You all showed such professionalism in the range of jobs you do and you put my mind at rest immediately with any concerns I had.

Initially I was meant to be in for one night, unfortunately my operation was not as straightforward as it first seemed and I remained in for ten nights.

Even when I felt down through being physically sick so much and had little energy to even get up and walk, there were people on hand to assist and reassure.

I hope the junior doctors issues get soon resolved in the NHS as I for one think they do a terrific job and deserve a higher pay rate per hour than the government wants to give.

We cannot afford to lose any or all of these wonderful doctors, where is the sense and the economics in that!.

Just to let you know for all the knocks you take in you're varied and capable hands, I for one am grateful that you were the team who looked after me and got me back on my feet.

I've been home two weeks now and am getting stronger every day thanks to you all.
