"Experiences of A&E and children's unit"

My newborn son was admitted to ward 17, the children's unit, when he was 5 weeks old. He has since had multiple admissions due to ongoing health issues. Our experiences on ward 17 have been outstanding. We feel as though every member of staff across the team has taken exceptional care of us. The warmth, expertise and compassion of everybody who looks after us has helped make a very difficult time that little bit easier. My son has been admitted twice via A&E and both of those experiences in the department were excellent as well. He was swiftly triaged and seen speedily and thoroughly in accordance with his young age and medical need. We are very grateful to everyone at Airedale and cannot speak highly enough of the staff.
