"Stroke Outpatients"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Campus

The waiting area was shabby (Clinic 4) and not appropriate for a leading hospital.

The nurse was disinterested, perfunctory and dismissive - no smiles or welcoming manner.

The doctor had no listening skills or empathy with my concerns it was as though they were just going through the motions.

I felt that the term "Review" was totally incorrect as the doctor was completely unable to acknowledge or deal with my individual concerns.

I felt the whole experience was demeaning and extremely patronising.

In summary I felt that I was treated like an idiot!
