"Excellent ,bubbly staff"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary / Maternity

(as the patient),

Whilst at the LRI maternity and being admitted at 23 weeks gestation of pregnancy, staff were very comforting and supporting due to having complications so early on. Due to having bad preeclampsia staff were constantly checking to make sure I was ok and ensuring my needs were met. Some staff for example, Sarah from ward 5 in the maternity unit always lifted the spirit of both patients and other staff. Sarah who is really down to earth made you feel the most comfortable even when your in the most pain.

Dear Daniella, thank you for taking the time to review your visit to the LRI maternity unit.

Your comments are appreciated and have been passed to the team involved.

We are glad you found the staff supportive at what we appreciate would be a difficult time for you.

Best wishes, Communications Team, Leicester's Hospitals.
