It seems the ward is regularly short-staffed, and there is a lack of therapists to provide additional support to patients.
Basic care is not being maintained on a daily basis, and standards are not consistent.
Rooms are dull, and not therapeutic for cancer patients. No pictures or even a clock or notice board in the side rooms.
It is depressing, and difficult for patients who may be admitted for long periods.
A clock to keep patients orientated. A notice board in the room with a date, names of staff etc would go a small way to keep a patient informed.
A lot of issues need resolving on this ward.
"Are poor staffing levels to blame?"
