"blood tests"

About: St Marks Hospital

after arriving at 8.15 am and listed as no 17 I had to wait until 9.35 to be tested

one staff arrived late, two tea breaks ??at the start ie 8.40 start one after patient no 10 and another at no 15 so my wait was over one hour ,2 staff tested just 8 people in that hour. This is not what we wish for .No one in charge to check progress ?

thanks reply please

Dear Dennis

I am really sorry to hear about your experience waiting for a blood test. I would be very grateful if you could contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) to talk about when this happened and we can look into this for you.

PALS Telephone: 0118 9605027

Email: bht@berkshire.nhs.uk

Alternatively, you could contact your local Healthwatch organisation for assistance. Contact details for Healthwatch can be found on our website: www.berkshirehealthcare.nhs.uk

Many Thanks,

Liz Daly
