I am writing to thank Torbay Hospital A&E staff, the ambulance service and the 111 service for looking after a member of my family following an unexpected and distressing health incident at home.
It was clearly not a 999 job and the 111 call handler gathered the information, dispatched paramedics who carried out an assessment at home and decided to send for an ambulance.
On arrival at Torbay A&E tests were initiated without delay.
Everyone we had contact with was polite yet friendly, and totally professional.
"Excellent service from 111, ambulance service..."
