"D5 and Theatre Team"

I attended ward D5 for a daycase breast op in February 16.

As a senior nurse in a different trust, I can recognise excellent quality care when I see it.

All staff, from clerical through to nursing and medical were so friendly, caring and professional.

All staff (nurses, doctor, anaesthetist, consultant) communicated well with me and I feel my privacy and dignity was respected throughout.

The ward appears to be very well organised and I cannot fault it for cleanliness. Nursing care was fantastic throughout also.

The theatre team (especially the theatre nurse, who has such a sweet and caring manner) were fantastic also.

I really think you have a service and team to be proud of- you're doing the nhs proud!
