I have had a number of operation on my right Knee due to sport injuries.
I had my operation on the 11/02/2016 as a NHS patient in the Oakland Hospital.
I was asked to attend the hospital at 12:30PM.
once I arrived I waited 2 minutes then was asked to come through to booking in.
The nurse that booked me in was very polite and also very professional.
I was feeling a bit nervous even though I have a number of operation before, the nurse made feeling a lot more relaxed once I had been booked in.
I then saw the consultant who explained everything again to me what they were going to do.
I then saw the anaesthesiologist who was brilliant, made me feel so at ease.
I went down for my operation at about 13:10.
when I came round from the general anaesthetic the after was great I was well looked after and the staff were great and would do anything you asked of them.
The overall experience was excellent.
all I can say is that I was nervous going for this operation but the staff and consultants at the Oakland put me at ease and did an excellent job.
I cannot praise them enough
