About: Hexham General Hospital

Length of wait for initial appointment shortened by common sense attitude of staff who contacted and advised that a short notice cancellation was available, if wanted.

All staff from reception through to nurse and Consultant were polite, efficient and helpful.

Follow up letters were informative and helpful.

Hospital appeared clean, tidy and efficiently administered. Car parking was excellent compared to other hospitals that I have visited.
