"Bed nineteen Kent Ward"

About: Kent & Canterbury Hospital

After two nights of wonderful care and attention by doctors nurses, and staff on Kent Vascular Ward from Wed.10th, it was disappointing on arrival at the Discharge Lounge on Friday to be told that after being told my prescribed medication would arrive in 15-20 minutes, it would now take 2 hours. Having phoned my wife in New Romney to collect me, and concerned about her finding the right car park, I was not prepared for her to have to park and we wait for 2hrs., and asked why I could not receive a prescription to collect the medication on our way home from my local pharmacy. It was suggested that I collect it the following day, Saturday at K&C. There seemed no consideration that it was about a 60 mile round trip!

My local surgery on Monday obtained electronically the prescription from K&C, and I collected the medication from my local pharmacy,...easy!
