"A&E visit"

About: Chorley & South Ribble Hospital

Popped in A&E reception for advice on a stuck fish bone in throat. I was at the hospital taking father in law for a urology appointment. I didn't want to take up time as I know how stretched the NHS is. Nothing I tried dislodged the bone. The staff from reception to nurse and doctor were nothing short of fabulous. They booked me in and got the bone out so quickly that my father in law whose in a wheelchair due to a stroke didn't even have to wait for me. Just wanted to say thank you so much.

Thak you for taking the time to tell us of your experience when you recently attended the Emergency Department. It was extremely pleasing to hear that the care you received was of the high standard we aim to offer all our patients. Please be assured that your kind comments have been shared with staff in the department.
