"Poor care for elderly mother"

My 83yr old mother was admitted with the onset of dementia. I was utterly disappointed with the lack of care for my mother and other patients. Most staff displayed a nonchalant attitude towards care. They would rather stand talking amongst themselves at the nurses station than answer the calls of patients. Saddening to say that I could not get my mother out of the hospital quick enough and I would not recommend it to anybody else.
