I stayed on the surgical ward due to lack of available beds on the ward I was suppose to be on. From the moment I arrived on the ward, I was exceptionally pleased with the service. I have stayed in many hospitals due to my chronic illness and this one surpasses the others by far. I cannot fault anyone, from the doctors right down to the cleaners. I was made to feel like a person as oppose to the "sick patient" I was kept informed and nurses were always on hand to answer queries/ put me at ease. The nurses were so lovely and such a credit to the NHS. I had lost faith in good nurses due to my previous experiences but these nurses really bought that faith back. You can see that they truly love their jobs. I am honoured to have been on the Surgical ward and have such angels around me. I personally don't know how anyone could complain. Nighttime was nice and quiet compared to other hospitals where they hold no regard to patients sleeping. Nurses actually come and talk to you and take an interest in what you do which is nice. A* all round
"Lovely stay on surgical ward"
