My wife has suffered from depression for many years yet over the last year it has got steadily worse till she has made 4 overdose suicide attempts in the last 4 weeks .
We had the police trying to find her as a severe risk individual and finally they found her but not before she had taken 38 paracetamol the police took her to a and e where she explained to the doctor she does it because she wants to die they put her on a drip for 21 hours the second time in two weeks and then after speaking with the mental health team ( weston super mare ) they decided she was safe to leave as they decided she wasnt a risk . This is the same team who made the same decision a week before to release her as she wasnt a risk.
I spoke with them and explained my fears that she would do it again ( she told me she would)yet they sent her home to an empty house .
I hope someone from the trust will explain to my children why they thought this was good practice.
"Very poor service and lack of support"
