"Wonderful service"

About: West Glasgow Ambulatory Care Hospital (Yorkhill) / Minor Injuries Unit

(as the patient),

I arrived at 10. 40am on recently with an injured pinky. I waited only 2 minutes to be seen by the first nurse. Waited a further 15 minutes to be x-rayed. And then 5 more minutes to be told what the issue was (torn ligament and small bone fracture). I was then treated and told how to self manage the injury and was able to go.

In all the whole scenario took less than 30 minutes!

Absolutely wonderful experience with a bunch of very capable and friendly nurses. Well done.

On Patient Opinion, I support Lorna Gray, Patient Experience Public Involvement Project Manager, and Niall McGrogan, Head of Patient Experience Public Involvement.
