I had my kidney stent removed today I did what a lot of people do and did research on the internet, this was the wrong thing to do because it caused me unnecessary worry. The specialist nurse that carried out the procedure explained everything that would happen, and put me totally at ease. The nurse was excellent totally professional, and a credit to the health service. For anyone that has to have this procedure done the best way to decribe it is at worst is slight discomfort for about 5 minutes tops.
