"One year waiting list"

About: Moorfields Eye Hospital (City Road Campus)

I had a vitrectomy last year and now have a cataract.

Following visit to general clinic I was referred to a specialist clinic.

Rang twice to find out when I will get my appointment.

Told today that there is a waiting list of one year.

My eyesight is changing rapidly and feel that there is a lack of patient information.

I'm going to have to give up work soon.

How much will I be able to see in one year.

I do realise that it is important to see the consultant that has this specialism but I had to find out this information myself.

Please keep patients informed.

Still reeling from this devastating news.
