"I no longer live in the area serviced ..."

About: Southend Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I no longer live in the area serviced by the hospital and on several occasions have tried to contact the hospital to tell them so. The switchboard passes me to a phone that doesn't stop ringing but is never answered. Because of this I have received a further appointments that I did not find out about until the appointment had passed, wasting the hospitals resources. There should be a simple way in which patients can inform the hospital that their contact details have changed and that they no longer require the services of the hospital.

What could be improved

Communications. Calls should not be passed to phones that are not answered
